Read Bible Verses Here, Purchase Bibles Over There
Over several years, Biblica had built a custom web content management system which had become cumbersome to maintain and improve. Further complicating matters, purchasing NIV Bibles utilizing digital commerce capabilities and consuming Bible content created “breaks” in the user experience. It had become too difficult to maintain the two systems separately.
Biblica engaged NetRelations and Luminos Labs to design and launch a new site experience for reading and purchasing the NIV Bible, with the specific goals of improving the average user’s time on site and increasing conversion rate for Bible purchases. Luminos Labs ™ was charged with the technical execution of migrating the previously federated experiences (between CMS and Commerce) onto a single platform to deliver a unified experience across all user tasks.
Luminos Labs and NetRelations brought Biblica unified content and commerce with Episerver
Luminos Labs and NetRelations collaborated to deliver a fresh unified experience for reading the Bible online and making purchases of the Bible online within a single implementation of Episerver Web Content Management (WCM) and Commerce Platform. Some of the key features of the Episerver platform that were leveraged include:
Responsive Mobile Design
Spanish and English versions of the site
Consumer Support and B2B Bible Purchases
Episerver Web Content Management (WCM) and Commerce were selected because of the unified product roadmap and ease-of-use for non-technical site administrators.
Biblica selected Luminos Labs because of our deep knowledge of Episerver and our experience delivering dozens of web content management and digital commerce solutions for clients on time. Our experience allowed us to quickly and effectively clarify what Biblica needed and wanted so the project stayed on track. Our experience with Episerver allowed us to implement the User Experience requirements, including a responsive framework leveraging the CMS and Commerce capabilities of Episerver with the creative effort of NetRelations.
