The Business Development Representative will report to the Director if Business Development and will own securing the first meeting with new potential clients. Primary Responsibilities:

  • Meeting and exceeding quarterly net new meeting, proposal, and new client targets
  • Sourcing net-new contacts and leads (emails, direct dials, etc.)
  • Overcome objections and secure meetings
  • Own target account lists, keeping HubSpot account details and history up to date
  • Maintain an accurate pipeline stage for leads sourced by the BDR
  • Assist with presentation/pitch deck & proposal creation
  • Expertly explain Luminos case studies and be able to answer detailed questions about our work
  • Build knowledge set around ecommerce, PIM, OMS and digital experience technologies
  • Work with partners like Episerver, InRiver, OrderDynamics in tandem with Business Development Director/Manager to identify key accounts

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 2-3+ years of experience in a lead generation role
  • A strong persuasive ability with the capacity to professionally and clearly articulate value proposition over phone and email
  • Technology/software/agency services industry experience required; eCommerce experience preferred
  • Experience with CRM tools, specifically HubSpot
  • Outstanding writing and story-telling skills, including the ability to create impactful sales messages
  • A Bachelor’s degree in Sales, Marketing, Communications, or equivalent work experience
  • Must be a self-directed team player who is goal-focused, detail-oriented

Detailed Responsibilities:

Strategy

  • Strategize and develop mid- and long-term projects that will deliver value to our clients.
  • Provide a blend of business and technical skills to develop approaches to eCommerce solutions.

Solution Requirements

  • Participate as a member of the discovery team in requirements gathering sessions with the client.
  • Help gather, create and review both business and technical requirements.
  • Be available to clarify any technical requirements for the team.

Technical Design & Development

  • Develop the high-level architecture for the client solution that supports their business requirements.
  • Help create the technical design for both the Episerver application and 3rd party systems integrations.
  • Back-end development leveraging the Episerver APIs, Microsoft stack and required technologies.

Client Management

  • Continuous communication with the client to ensure there is alignment on technical decisions.
  • Be the bridge between the client and the internal team for anything technical.

Project Management

  • Proactively notify the Project Manager of any task, deliverable, or activity requiring further planning.
  • Propose solutions to the Project Manager and the team if timeline, budget and/or scope go off track.
  • Proactively try to resolve any blockers or risks either by coordinating with the rest of the team, with the client, or with other vendors.
  • Proactively identity risks and the associated mitigation plans.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience as .NET Developer and Technical Lead in a consulting/services company

  • Coordinate with internal and external designers to create marketing collateral for web or print.

  • Be the guardian of the brand and ensure its consistent usage across all activities and in all situations.

  • Participate as a member of the discovery team in requirements gathering sessions with the client.
  • Help gather, create and review both business and technical requirements.
